Book Discussion

Post by OriginalTwitch »

Hi guys! The first book recommendation I have is a 3 book fantasy adventure series called Dragonlance Chronicles. In this 3 part series #1 is Dragons of Autumn Twilight. #2 is Dragons of Winter night. #3 is Dragons of Spring Dawning (all 3 written by Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman). Another recommendation is a nice historical type book that is very short called Code of the Samurai by Thomas Cleary, just because I think samurai are fascinating. For book #3, do keep an open mind (seriously) is called Under Fishbone Clouds (Historical Chinese Fiction) by Sam Meekings. I have all of these, I can spare for borrowage (a new word I made up).

 A book I just started is: Don't Give The Enemy A Seat At Your Table. The author is Louie Giglio. This book is amazing so far. Sometimes when you read something, you say, "my, those are nice words". We can take something at its face value and its often good. But when you take time to think about what you read and meditate while digging deep, Its like looking at a beautiful sculpture from the outside and realizing that the material used on the inside, along with the craftsmanship used to sculpt it, are of high importance and have drastic power. This is what Louie Giglio does, a good job excavating Psalm 23, the book title speaks for itself.
